Hour Shifts :
7:00 AM-7:00 PM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM Riverview Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses for seasonal opportunities in our medical surgical areas. This is a great opportunity for experienced nurses looking for a short-term assignment while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Contract Details:
12-week seasonal assignment Contract dates: October 18, 2026 - January 9, 2027 Day shift: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM Night shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM Candidates must be available for the duration of the seasonal contract Join the Riverview Regional Medical Center team for a rewarding seasonal opportunity and make a difference in the lives of the patients and families we serve. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients.
He / She
communicates with physician about changes in the patients clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
You must have:
Current and valid state RN License. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current. Additional Qualifications That Are a
Plus:
Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred. Ventilator Management experience preferred.
