Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-CVICU Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic environment where advanced cardiac care takes center stage. This contract opportunity seeks a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care (CVICU) or general ICU. Your expertise will be pivotal in delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license required Minimum 2 years recent experience in a Cardiac ICU (CVICU) Comfortable managing a patient ratio of 1:2 Strong grasp of cardiac procedures, monitoring, and critical care protocols Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred Excellent assessment, clinical, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients Monitor, interpret, and respond to complex cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic changes Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and ancillary staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans Administer medications, therapies, and interventions in accordance with evidence-based protocols Educate patients and their families about procedures, treatment plans, and ongoing care Accurately document all aspects of nursing care This position is designed for professionals who thrive in high-acuity, collaborative settings.
