Our team is small, which means the person in this role matters enormously. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to work directly alongside our nurse practitioner and our current clinical lead. This is not a fill-in role. Our clinical lead is starting nurse practitioner school, and we are looking for someone we can invest in over the next year to grow into that level of responsibility. Our patients pay out of pocket and stay with us because they feel genuinely looked after. The nurse in this role is a big part of why. Responsibilities Room patients, take histories, and gather the clinical detail that makes a visit useful, including medications, adherence, symptoms, and side effects Draw labs, process and ship specimens accurately, and track results through to review Administer injections and place and run IV infusions Prepare clinical documentation and treatment plans for provider review Follow up with patients between visits on lab results, medication questions, and progress through their program Own the details that keep patients safe: right patient, right label, right chart, every single time Confirm that orders, refills, and follow-up appointments are actually completed, not just started Answer patient messages and calls promptly, with warmth and accurate information Skills and requirements Active Alabama RN license Solid IV skills and comfort with injections Careful with details, particularly patient identifiers, medication doses, and documentation. This is the single most important quality for this role. Someone who thinks. When something does not look right, you notice it and you speak up. This matters more to us than years of experience. Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems Warm and easy with patients, in person and in writing Experience in outpatient, med spa, infusion, functional medicine, or primary care is helpful.
