Job Description
Desired Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted RN license Minimum of 1 year of current experience in a medical-surgical (MS) nursing setting Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and care planning Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities Current BLS certification (required); additional certifications preferredKey Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients, including assessments, treatments, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Accurately document patient information, interventions, and progress Respond promptly to patient needs; ensure comfort and safety at all times Administer medications and perform procedures in accordance with best practices and facility policies Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards This contract role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable med-surg nursing experience while contributing to a respected medical team.
