PCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Stepdown Job Type Contract Step into an essential clinical setting as an experienced Registered Nurse in Stepdown and Telemetry care. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes during transitional care periods, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications:
Valid RN license in good standing Experience in Stepdown and Telemetry nursing environments Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong monitoring and assessment abilities Proficient with electronic medical records and telemetry equipment Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients requiring close observation and specialized monitoring Continuously assess patients' conditions, recognizing and responding promptly to clinical changes Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed Collaborate effectively with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
