Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Take on an impactful role providing direct patient care and expertise in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting. As a critical member of a multidisciplinary team, you will help patients through complex diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring their safety and delivering high-quality nursing care throughout their Cath Lab experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures. Assist physicians and Cath Lab staff during diagnostic and interventional cases. Monitor patient status continuously and respond promptly to changes in condition. Manage and maintain specialized equipment used in the Cath Lab setting. Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and post-discharge care requirements. Adhere strictly to infection control guidelines and hospital protocols. Accurately document all aspects of patient care in electronic medical records.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active, unencumbered RN license. Demonstrated recent experience working as an RN in a Cath Lab environment. Strong knowledge of cardiac care, EKG interpretation, and emergency response protocols. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced, procedural setting.
