Qualifications RN License Nursing Diploma Full Job Description Position Overview:
Responsible for coordinating staffing and providing leadership in an oncology unit caring for cancer patients and medical-surgical cases. Assigns, directs, educates, and monitors nursing/support staff during shifts, and contributes to staff evaluations. Assesses patient care needs, develops care assignments, and ensures appropriate patient care delivery. Evaluates patient outcomes, addresses care issues, and responds to complaints following established protocols. May participate in hiring, training, and staff development.Qualifications and Skills:
Current RN licensure by the Alabama Board of Nursing. CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire;ACLS/PALS
may be required within 6 months depending on unit. Diploma from an accredited nursing program and at least 1 year of relevant experience.Additional Details:
