Job Description

Our client, a midsized hospital located NW AL, near Lexington, AL along the TN border, has a need for a Director of Emergency Services to join their team. They are offering a $10,000 sign on bonus! The Director of Nursing provides strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of the Emergency Services. You will be accountable for designing and implementing innovative programs, improving patient outcomes, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care across the continuum. As the Director, you will collaborate with providers, staff, and leadership to elevate clinical performance and patient experience. Serve as the accountable leader for all aspects of Emergency Services. Drive continuous improvement in outcomes, cost of care, and patient satisfaction. Partner with quality leadership to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and advance toward becoming a highly reliable organization. Collaborate with other service line leaders, facility leadership, and system executives to provide consistent, patient-centered care. Support provider and staff recruitment, retention, and engagement. Demonstrate values through inspirational leadership and a commitment to patient-centered outcomes.
Collaboration:
Partner with physicians, advanced practice providers, and hospital leadership to enhance care coordination, patient experience, and service delivery. Oversees ongoing staff education, competency, and adherence to clinical and patient safety standards.

This leadership position is full-time, Exempt, with benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Current Alabama RN license (or eligible for licensure). A minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience in Emergency Services Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships team Experience with budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation in acute care settings. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement performance-improvement initiatives. BLS and ACLS required (or obtained within a defined timeframe)
