Registered Nurse RN- Rehab

Suwannee Medical Personnel is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for PRN / Per Diem Rehab nursing opportunities in Montgomery, Alabama . This is a great opportunity for dependable nurses who enjoy flexible scheduling and have recent acute care experience in settings such as Med Surg, LTAC, or Inpatient Rehab . Position Overview The RN Rehab nurse will provide direct patient care to patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or extended hospitalization. This role includes supporting patients with ongoing medical needs, rehabilitation goals, medication administration, assessments, documentation, and coordination of care with the facility's clinical team. Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to rehab patients in accordance with facility policies and physician orders Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in condition Administer medications and treatments as ordered Assist patients with recovery goals, mobility support, and activities of daily living as needed Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, CNAs, patients, families, and facility staff Complete accurate and timely documentation Follow infection control, safety, and compliance standards Maintain a professional, dependable, and patient-focused approach while on assignment Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or compact license accepted in Alabama Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience required Acceptable experience includes Med Surg, LTAC, or Inpatient Rehab Current CPR/BLS certification Ability to work PRN / per diem shifts as needed Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills Dependability and professionalism are required Why Join Suwannee Medical Personnel?
