POSITION SUMMARY

Provides safe therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way. Incorporates differences into the provision of care. Integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum to include patient and family education. Utilizes standards, guidelines, protocols, or pathways for care delivery. Incorporates data and information to continuously improve care and practice to enhance outcomes. Administers Medications according to standard nursing practice. Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

$65/hr 13 week contract No benefits Expectation to work every other weekend and 7 shifts per pay period (3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next week) May be assigned to cover ALL Med/Surg areas

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education Graduate from a school of nursing Minimum Experience N/A Required Registration/License/Certification Alabama Board of Nursing License BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire date Preferred Education BSN Preferred Experience 1 to 2 years of Med/ Surg experience Preferred Registration/License/Certification N/A Other Requirements N/A
