POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient/family centered care for all patient populations. Provides safe, therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way. The RN Scrub Tech demonstrates knowledge, skills, and behaviors to maintain a consistent level of practice. Incorporates differences into the provision of care. Integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum to include patient and family education. Utilizes standards, guidelines, protocols, or pathways for care delivery. Incorporates data and information to continuously improve care and practice to enhance outcomes. Administers Medications according to standard nursing practice. Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education Graduate of a nursing school Minimum Experience N/A Required Registration/License/Certification Alabama Board of Nursing License BLS obtained within 90 days of hire/transfer or prior to taking call. Preferred Education BSN Preferred Experience Perioperative, Perianesthesia, ER, ICU/stepdown experience Preferred Registration/License/Certification Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
