REGISTERED NURSE - EMERGENCY DEPT

(10a-10p) Opp, AL Apply Description The ER Nurse has the responsibility to work under the supervisor and the ER Manager to provide the maximum standards of care to all patients who present to Mizell Memorial Hospital for emergency and/or outpatient care. Assisting with procedures and activities scheduled on outpatients daily such as; x-rays, OR procedures, etc. Must keep a good working relationship with outside facilities and/or agencies to promote quality patient care. 1. Check and order supplies as needed daily. 2. Check crash cart, defibrillator and other code equipment - sign off check list. 3. Other duties and positions as assigned by supervisor. Reports to ER Manager; No supervisory responsibilities

Requirements Education/Experience:

Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate's in Nursing.

License/Certification:

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama. Must be Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified. Must maintain CEUs consistent with requirements of Alabama Board of Nursing. Completion of Critical Care course/Trauma Nurse Core course desirable. Apply View All Jobs
