Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various nursing specialties, including occupational health, home care, and senior care. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Registered Nurse will play a critical role in patient education and support throughout their healthcare journey.

Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and symptoms. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Perform venipuncture and other necessary procedures with precision. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs. Provide acute pain management strategies to enhance patient comfort. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures. Maintain accurate medical records using Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems. Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols to promote safety and quality of care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on advancements in nursing practices, including esthetic laser treatment techniques.
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice. Experience in occupational health, home care, or senior care is preferred. Proficiency in performing venipuncture and managing acute pain situations. Ability to ventilate patients effectively when required in emergency situations. Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and teamwork. Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. Previous experience with electronic health records systems such as Athenahealth is a plus.
