As a Registered Nurse with PACU experience, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting patients as they awaken from anesthesia following surgery or procedures. Qualifications:

Active, unencumbered RN license Proven experience in PACU or similar critical care nursing settings Current BLS and ACLS certification required Proficient in quickly assessing and responding to patient needs post-anesthesia Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesiologists and surgeons Excellent communication and documentation skills Competency in IV therapy, airway management, and monitoring vital signs

Key Responsibilities:

Closely monitor patients' recovery from anesthesia, assessing and documenting vital signs and pain levels Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, administering appropriate interventions as needed Provide clear post-operative instructions and emotional support to patients and their families Communicate patient updates and progress to the surgical team and other healthcare staff Maintain a safe and clean working environment, in compliance with all facility protocols Participate in ongoing quality improvement and safety initiatives
