Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in ICU care. This role places you in a fast-paced, 492-bed hospital with advanced resources, including a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and a designated Primary Stroke Center. Qualifications:
Active RN license with eligibility to practice Minimum of 2 years recent ICU nursing experience Advanced knowledge of critical care protocols, interventions, and clinical equipment Ability to remain composed, efficient, and detail-oriented in high-acuity situations Excellent communication skills for working within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver critical care nursing to adult patients experiencing acute and life-threatening conditions Perform frequent assessments, manage medications, monitor vital signs, and document changes efficiently Respond rapidly and skillfully to emergencies within the ICU Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans Ensure adherence to hospital safety policies, infection control protocols, and best clinical practices Provide compassionate education and support to patients' families during difficult times
