Schedule/Hours:

Contract role with variable hours based on surgical caseload.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with eligibility to practice. Minimum of 1 year experience as an RN in an Operating Room setting. Thorough knowledge of perioperative and intraoperative care, including pre-op, circulating, and post-anesthesia recovery processes. BLS certification is required; ACLS preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills with surgical teams, anesthesia staff, and patients. Ability to adapt to new technologies and protocols quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Monitor and assess patients' condition in the OR, acting swiftly in case of emergencies or changes. Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technicians to ensure a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment. Accurately document patient information, surgical counts, and interventions according to policy. Uphold infection control standards and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. Educate patients and family members on perioperative care and recovery expectations as needed.
