Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Step into an essential role supporting cardiac patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work with a dedicated team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, assisting in life-saving procedures and interventions. We are seeking an experienced RN with a background in Cath Lab settings who can excel under pressure while providing exceptional care.
Desired Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted RN license Minimum of one year of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and patient monitoring Proficiency with electronic health records and Cath Lab equipment Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate well in multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stenting, and other interventional procedures Assist physicians during procedures by handling equipment, administering medications, and monitoring patient status Prepare patients physically and emotionally for procedures, offering education and support to reduce anxiety Perform and document patient assessments before, during, and after procedures Monitor and respond rapidly to patient needs or emergencies within the Cath Lab Maintain a clean, organized, and safe operating environment, adhering to infection control protocols Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and smooth workflow
