Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic Cath Lab environment, working alongside skilled professionals to deliver patient-centered care. This contract opportunity calls for a Registered Nurse with specialized Cath Lab experience, who thrives in high-acuity situations and values teamwork.
Schedule/Hours:
40 hours per week Four 10-hour shifts 8-week assignment 8 on-call days, including 1 weekend every 4 weeks
Qualifications:
Active RN license Minimum of 2 years' Cath Lab nursing experience Previous experience as a travel Cath Lab RN preferred Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cath lab procedures Monitor patients for complications and respond to emergent situations according to protocols Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams during procedures and recovery Maintain accurate and real-time documentation using Cerner Rotate participation in the on-call schedule, ensuring timely response for urgent cases Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines Educate patients and families on procedures, post-operative care, and recovery expectations This role offers a highly structured schedule in a supportive, fast-paced technical environment, with opportunities to expand your experience in interventional cardiology.
