More about our team Our Acute Care Unit is a 31-bed inpatient unit specializing in adult acute care & oncology overflow. Nurses on this unit typically manage a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio. This dynamic environment is a great place to start for RN's looking to develop critical care skills and offers nurses the opportunity to strengthen their clinical expertise while delivering compassionate, high-quality care. How you'll contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient Performs timely and accurate QI assessments Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Additional requirements include:
Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree in nursing preferred Basic Life Support required ACLS, required within 6 months of hire Experience preferred, but new grads welcomed to apply.
