Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a compassionate ICU RN to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill patients. In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, manage ventilators, administer medications, and respond to emergencies. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary team, educating patients and families while maintaining accurate documentation. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill ICU patients Continuously assess, monitor, and document patient status and vital signs Administer medications, fluids, and blood products safely Manage ventilators and advanced hemodynamic monitoring equipment Respond promptly to emergencies and rapid changes in patient condition Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team on care plans Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and care plans Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHRFollow infection control, safety, and quality standards Participate in ongoing professional development and unit-based initiatives Required Skills Critical care nursing Ventilator management Hemodynamic monitoring IV therapy and medication administration Interpretation of cardiac rhythms Use of EHR/EMR systems Rapid assessment and triage Advanced life support skills (ACLS) Infection prevention and control Patient and family education
