A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description

Make Your IMPACT! Growing Together! We are looking for compassionate individuals who want to make a positive impact on our students to join our Team! Duties include (not limited to): Medication Checks and oversight of administration of medications and staff training related to medication administration Ensure correct documentation of medication administration Communicate information about student change of medical condition to staff Maintain student medical records, including setting up files for new students as needed Occasionally schedule appointments for students with medical providers Oversee ordering and inventory of medications Ensure storage of medications in compliance with applicable standards Group Home medication audits Able to communicate professionally and respectfully with nursing department and staff Other duties deemed necessary by CNS (discussed in interview)

Valid and current non restricted, unencumbered RN nursing license A good driving record with current vehicle insurance Dependable transportation Ability to work in team setting as well as independently Pass a Federal and DHR background check
Physical Requirement:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential and required job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal standards including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards

From $25.00 per hour
