Category Nursing - RN-CVICU Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in critical care with this rewarding opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care. This contract position calls for a skilled RN to provide advanced patient care in a dynamic Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) environment. Your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional outcomes for critically ill cardiac patients.
Qualifications:
Active RN license with valid credentials to practice At least 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac ICU or CVICU setting Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, pharmacologic interventions, and comprehensive patient assessment High level of professionalism, adaptability, and commitment to evidence-based care Strong communication skills and effective team collaboration
Schedule:
Shifts follow a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, supporting focused, quality patient care
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver critical care to cardiac patients, adapting to rapidly changing conditions Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to emergencies, and implement physician orders Administer medications, manage ventilators, and support cardiovascular interventions Communicate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and coordination of care Provide education and support to patients and their families during hospitalization Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards
