Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Advance your nursing career by providing exceptional care to patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs. This contract role is ideal for a registered nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in a dynamic hospital environment.
Schedule:
7:00 AM - 7:00
PM Essential Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted RN license Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in medical-surgical and telemetry units Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system is required Strong assessment, organizational, and critical thinking abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the healthcare team Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills BLS certification (additional certifications a plus)
Core Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor patients' conditions, recognizing and responding to acute changes Administer prescribed medications, therapies, and treatments safely Operate and monitor telemetry equipment, promptly reporting changes in vital signs or cardiac rhythm Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EHR Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing needs Adhere to all facility protocols, infection control procedures, and safety regulations
