This contract position is ideal for Registered Nurses with a passion for critical care and a commitment to delivering the highest standard of support to acutely ill patients.
Key Qualifications:
Valid, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 1 year experience working in an ICU environment required Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred) Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills Excellent communication abilities and collaborative mindset Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations Proficient in electronic health record documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver advanced, patient-focused nursing care in the intensive care unit, managing complex conditions and interventions Monitor and document vital signs, administer medications, and evaluate patient progress Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions Communicate clearly with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to ensure comprehensive care planning and education Assist physicians during procedures and diagnostic tests within the ICU Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely patient records Uphold all infection control protocols and facility policies to ensure patient safety
