Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care for critically ill patients. This contract opportunity requires experience in intensive care, cardiac stepdown, and progressive care unit settings. The role involves delivering high-level nursing interventions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract-based assignment with flexible shifts, including potential nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications:
Current, unencumbered RN license Proven experience in ICU, Cardiac Stepdown, or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and evidence-based practices
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care to individuals with complex, acute conditions Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status Administer medications, assist with procedures, and document interventions accurately Coordinate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery processes Adhere to established protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards Implement and monitor individualized care plans
