Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in Cath Lab procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care in a dynamic hospital environment. This position offers a chance to work alongside leading healthcare professionals, supporting vital diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license Previous experience working in a Cath Lab strongly preferred BLS and ACLS certifications required Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and intervention techniques Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary care teams Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab Prepare patients for procedures, including assessments and IV placement Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures, responding promptly to changes Administer medications and assist with sedation as per protocols Scrub or circulate during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other specialty procedures Provide post-procedure care, education, and support to patients and families Maintain accurate documentation and uphold infection control standards This contract position provides an excellent opportunity to advance your nursing expertise within a specialized clinical setting.
