8:00 AM - 4:30 PM This travel assignment is ideal for Registered Nurses eager to develop leadership capabilities, adapt to different workplace dynamics, and strengthen their resume with sought-after home infusion experience. You'll coordinate and deliver direct patient care under a physician's plan, teach and support patients and caregivers, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, all while enjoying meaningful patient relationships in a home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments, develop and update individualized care plans Administer prescribed IV medications, vascular access care, and related procedural tasks Educate, supervise, and counsel patients and families on infusion therapy Identify and report side effects, allergies, and adverse drug interactions Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and participate in quality improvement initiatives Adhere to infection control and safety protocols Participate in on-call rotation and discharge planning
Qualifications:
Active and violation-free RN license in Alabama (and other states as required) Minimum one year of nursing experience Current CPR/BLS certification Valid driver's license, automobile with insurance Proficiency in clinical standards, independent and strategic thinking, communication, and organization
