A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description

```Duties```
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
  • Assist with diagnostic evaluations and procedures, such as cardiac catheterization and spinal tap
  • Provide wound care and perform dressing changes
  • Assist with patient education and provide information on managing chronic conditions
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records ```Experience```
  • Must have a current and valid LPN or RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Proficient in a variety of nursing skills
  • Knowledge of occupational health practices and standards
  • Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (Point Click Care) As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care.
