Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) working the overnight shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional patient care across diverse settings, including acute care, long-term care, and community-based environments. As an RN on this shift, you will be at the forefront of patient assessment, treatment administration, and care coordination, ensuring safety and comfort for individuals with complex medical needs. Your expertise will help foster a compassionate environment where patients feel valued and supported around the clock. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using EMR system Point Click Care Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions, botulinum toxin treatments, and other specialized therapies. Manage airway support with ventilator care and perform aseptic techniques during procedures like suturing and catheterization. Provide acute pain management and assist with emergency interventions in trauma or ICU settings, utilizing Level I or Level II trauma center experience when applicable. Coordinate patient care plans through case management strategies, discharge planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in hospital or outpatient environments. Support patients with developmental disabilities, memory care needs, or behavioral health challenges by applying specialized nursing practices in assisted living or memory care units. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain meticulous medical documentation for all patient interactions and treatments. Qualifications Valid RN license with current registration to practice in the relevant state or region. Proven experience in critical care environments such as ICU, emergency room, or trauma centers; familiarity with Level I or Level II trauma center standards is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems like PCC Competency in performing IV insertions, phlebotomy, specimen collection/processing, and sterile processing techniques. Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities or developmental delays. Excellent communication skills for triage assessments and patient education; familiarity with infection control practices is essential. Critical thinking skills combined with compassionate bedside manner to deliver high-quality acute and post-acute care across various settings such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, home care or hospice services.
