Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to support a dynamic school setting near Maumelle, AR. Your nursing expertise will help ensure a safe and healthy environment for students and staff, contributing not only professional care but also positive energy to the school community. Desired Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas Prior experience working in a school environment preferred, but not required Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to respond effectively to a variety of health-related situations in a school setting Flexibility, compassion, and professionalism in interactions with students and staff
Responsibilities:
Perform daily health assessments, respond to emergencies, and provide first aid as needed Manage chronic conditions, medication administration, and health documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines Act as a health resource for students, parents, and school personnel Coordinate care plans, facilitate communication between school and healthcare providers, and support individualized student needs Promote wellness, hygiene, disease prevention, and healthy practices throughout the campus
