Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract An exciting contract opportunity awaits a Registered Nurse with experience in school settings. We are searching for a dedicated RN to support students near North Little Rock, AR, starting as soon as possible. Further specifics will be provided on Monday, so interested candidates are encouraged to express interest promptly.
Key Qualifications:
Current RN license, valid and in good standing Prior experience as a school nurse or similar pediatric/educational environment Demonstrated ability to handle medical emergencies and routine procedures within a school setting Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills CPR certification required Compassionate, patient-centered approach to student care
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day nursing care for students, addressing injuries, illnesses, and managing chronic conditions Administer medications and maintain accurate health records Communicate with parents, educators, and healthcare providers regarding students' health needs Promote health education and preventative care for students and staff Respond promptly and effectively to medical incidents or emergencies on campus Support compliance with state health regulations and district policies
