Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Administrator specializing in Behavioral Health to lead and coordinate our behavioral health services. This pivotal role involves overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The Nurse Administrator will foster a collaborative environment that promotes recovery, safety, and well-being for patients across various behavioral health settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the quality of mental health services while ensuring operational excellence and staff engagement. Responsibilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Medication Supervision(within scope of the state regulations) overseeing and assuring the BHT/Med-Tech's are properly assisting people with their medications.
- Oversee quality of nursing and healthcare services for all individuals receiving services.
- Ensure compliance with all facility, CQL, DHS/DPSQA, AFMC, CCS, and CSSP regulations.
- Supervise medication support services and ensure BHT/Med-Tech staff assist with medications appropriately within scope.
- Responsible for prioritizing tasks and responsibilities through to completion
- Ability to proficiently run the med cart and administer all meds
- Oversee the staff schedule.
- Responsible for administering in-services and recording them.
- Assist with admissions and discharges
- Ensure fire and tornado drills are performed and documented.
- Ensure new staff are trained properly.
- Assur EMR and /or paper MAR's match the provider's match the orders.
- Ensure staff has access to vaccines as needed.
- Is responsible for being on call 24/7 for medical emergencies and or will have a split shift with other staff members.
- Will lead group therapies and activities including paid company outings. Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards Qualifications
- Current and active Arkansas RN or LPN license or multistate license in good standing.
- Minimum of one year experience in behavioral healthcare preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Suite.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per yearWork Location:
