Responsibilities Collecting medical histories and monitoring vital signs, documenting in the EMR Assisting physicians with minor in-office surgical procedures and physical examinations Performing routine screenings such as hearing, vision, ECG, etc. Administering medications, injections, immunizations and performing wound care or dressing changes Assessing patient needs via phone or in person; coordinating care with other specialist, facilitating follow up, responding to messages from physicians Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a clean, safe workplace and equipment Restocking rooms, routine autoclave cleaning of equipment Qualifications LPN or RN degree required. Ability to manage high patient volumes in an efficient manner. Strong interpersonal skills for patient, family and team communication. Proficiency in technical nursing skills such as IV start, blood draws, dressings, manual vitals.
