Join our team! Job Summary We are currently seeking a highly qualified Registered Nurse to join our growing healthcare team . Essential Job Functions Lead, supervise, and coordinate care for residents and CNA's, ensuring a seamless and efficient care experience. Assume responsibility for all resident medications, including controlled substances, upholding the highest standards of accountability. Safeguard medication storage areas through diligent adherence to security protocols, ensuring residents' well-being. Foster a culture of education and knowledge for residents under your care, enriching their healthcare journey. Efficiently manage CNA assignments and delegate special tasks within the CNA scope of practice. Conduct comprehensive rounds for all residents, ensuring the faithful execution of Care Plans. Uphold physician orders, whether verbal or written, with meticulous attention to detail within your scope. Demonstrate precision in all aspects of your work, particularly in thorough and accurate documentation. Maintain accurate documentation, including medication administration records, treatment records, and nurse charting. Complete all assigned MDS assessments and provide detailed, truthful reporting. Promptly report any errors to the ADON/DON, fostering a culture of transparency and continuous improvement. Streamline the tracking of central supply items for each resident. Vigilantly report any witnessed or suspected abuse to the DON, ADON, or Administrator, safeguarding resident well-being. Provide "on-call" support to nursing staff as scheduled by the Administrator, ensuring seamless care delivery. Embrace the versatility of your role, tackling any other duties as assigned with enthusiasm and dedication.
Knowledge of:
Medical terminology. Safety rules, policies and procedures, infection prevention and control procedures. Facility emergency/disaster response and evacuation procedures. Resident Rights and identifying abuse and/or neglect.
HIPPA Skill in:
Use and care of equipment, tools and materials used in resident care activities. Working independently to complete daily activities according to work schedule, policy and procedures. Following and maintaining safety standards. Following and effectively communicating verbal and written instructions. Operating a computer utilizing a variety of commonly used and specialized software applications.
Ability to:
Recognize any changes in condition and notify the physician immediately, asking for appropriate action. Identify when a situation cannot be handled and know when to ask for help. Adhere to the Arizona State Board of Nursing Rules and Nurse Practice Act. Turn your passion as a Registered Nurse into an exhilarating journey with us! vaccine or exemption. Complete annual Tuberculosis Testing. Fulfill the required 12 hours of annual in-service training. Mandated federal, state, and local communicable disease testing as required.
