As an Accredited Chest Pain Center and STEMI Receiving Center, our 2-room Cardiac Catheterization Department performs high-acuity interventions including Impella/IABP, Left Main PCI, CTO, lithotripsy, rotational atherectomy, laser technology, PFO closures, and advanced pulmonary embolism thrombectomies.

Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation).   Review medical history, assess health status, initiate and maintain IV lines, administer prescribed medications, verify surgical consents, and educate patients/families. Intra

  Assist the Cardiologist during cardiac catheterization and PCI procedures. Monitor vital signs, hemodynamic data, and sedation levels. Ensure equipment functionality and respond to emergent complications. Post

Procedure :

Monitor post-op recovery, manage arterial/venous sheaths, track vital signs, and administer post-procedure medications. General Clinical Duties Coordinate patient-centered care and accurately document findings in the electronic health record. Administer medications, monitor side effects, and operate specialized equipment (IV pumps, cardiac monitors). Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities. Advocate for patient rights, maintain infection control, and enforce National Patient Safety Goals. Participate in unit quality audits, chart reviews, and performance improvement initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain regular and reliable attendance and comply with facility policies. Qualifications & Requirements 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required RN

• Registered Nurse
• State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required BCLS
• Basic Life Support required ACLS
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Strong foundation in the nursing process, acute care practices, and clinical assessments.
