1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN Circulator for a Level I trauma center position requiring circulate, scrub, and charge experience with on-call availability. Details Work in a Level I trauma, academic teaching hospital with 268 staffed beds OR unit with 11 rooms handling high-volume ortho, trauma, and spine cases, plus all other specialties with minimal pediatric cases Patient ratio is 1:1 Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM On-call required: up to 8 weekday shifts and up to 9 weekend call shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per 13-week period, with a 30-minute recall requirement Blocked scheduling on weekends No floating required Charting performed in Cerner Scrubs are provided for OR RNs Free parking available on-site Requirements Active, unrestricted AZ RN license or a valid, participating compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required Experience in circulating, scrubbing, and charge roles required Experience in general, ortho, spine, trauma, and neuro (including craniotomies) required Level I trauma center experience required; highly skilled candidates with recent Level II trauma experience at a similarly sized or larger facility may be considered Additional Information 13-week contract Responsibilities include circulating, scrubbing, and charge duties in a high-volume OR 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requires unit manager approval First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted
