What they do
A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
Experience:
- 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
- 36 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
- 3 months of RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System) experience is preferred.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
- This role will require floating to multiple units
- Local & travel allowed.
- No current placement allowed at

Flu declinations accepted on condition traveler wears a mask at all times.Required Skills/Experience:
1 year pediatric experience required. Must be comfortable with both adult and pediatric patients.Special Requests:
RTOs for Thanksgiving and Christmas will not be acceptable.Unit Details:
Adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients.Ratios:
Non-Covid typically 4:1, max 5:1; Covid patients typically 2:1, max 3:1. May be assigned to help cover flu immunization clinics as needed.Shift & Scheduling:
Typical schedule is 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next, plus up to 1 on-call shift per week. Must be flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. 15-minute call response time for all units with a call requirement.Floating Requirements:
Occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work. This could include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting or task-oriented support such as answering call lights and phones. 14 days maximum time off 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 monthsCertifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
