Monday through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with (1) hour lunch
Duration:
13 weeks
Start:
Within 2 weeks Pay rate: Gross weekly $2362 for 36 hours Stipend weekly $1246 non-taxable Taxable weekly $1116 on W2
Required:
Active RN license BLS CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator) Registered Nurse (RN) for Facility Diabetes Clinic specialized RN work involving consultation, assessment and evaluation of diabetes related services to individuals, families and communities.
Key responsibilities:
Assess patients with diabetes by monitoring blood glucose levels, vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status. Educate patients and families on diabetes management, including medication administration, insulin injections, glucose monitoring, diet, exercise, and lifestyle modifications. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals. Monitor treatment effectiveness, review laboratory results (A1C, glucose levels), and report significant changes to providers. Administer medications, insulin, and other treatments as prescribed while ensuring patient safety and adherence. Provide counseling and support to help patients manage chronic diabetes-related conditions and prevent complications. Coordinate referrals for diabetes education, nutrition services, wound care, ophthalmology, podiatry, and other specialty care as needed. Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards. Conduct follow-up visits and telephone triage to address patient concerns, medication adjustments, and disease management needs. Promote preventive care by educating patients on foot care, skin care, medication compliance, and early recognition of diabetes-related complications. #
