1 Description American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Diabetes Clinic position requiring an active AZ or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS, and Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification. Details Clinic setting within a Diabetes Clinic and Primary Care Clinic Provides consultation, assessment, and evaluation of diabetes-related services to individuals, families, and communities Monday through Friday day shift schedule, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch No weekends or holidays required Requirements Active AZ or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification obtained within the last 3 years required Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in the specialty required Clinic experience mandatory Strong critical thinking and triage skills, including knowledge of the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) Additional Information Orientation occurs every other Monday; missing the compliance deadline will result in placement in the next scheduled orientation Shared housing may be available based on availability (no family or pets permitted)
