1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring AZ or compact RN licensure and 1-2 years of acute care operating room experience. Details Operating Room department within an acute-care hospital setting Unit consists of 6 operating rooms and 1 endo suite Patient population is 70% adult, 28% geriatric, and 2% pediatric Case mix includes 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient procedures 1:1 patient ratio Utilizes new Olympus laparoscopic/endo equipment, processors, and monitors, along with Steris beds and a Hana table Uses MEDHOST and CQI EHR systems Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Weekend hours only required for on-call coverage May float to PACU to serve as a second RN Call requirements evenly shared among OR RNs, typically starting at 5:00 PM On-call approximately 15 days per month Requirements Active AZ or compact RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required PALS preferred, but can be obtained on-site 1-2 years of RN experience in an acute care facility required Experience in general, endo, ortho, OB, and GYN surgical specialties required Experience with scheduled and emergency C-sections required RN degree/education required Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Perform circulating and/or scrub RN duties across general, endo, ortho, OB, and GYN surgical cases Scrubs are provided by the facility Visible tattoos are acceptable as long as they meet professional standards Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel assignment Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on this assignment
