ACLS Certification Full Job Description Role:

Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse responsible for patient care in a specialized ICU setting.

Responsibilities:

Administer medications, monitor vital signs, communicate patient status to physicians and families, provide care for post-open-heart surgery and heart transplant patients, and educate families on ongoing care needs.

Qualifications:

Active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and at least eighteen months of recent CVICU experience.

Skills & Duties:

Deliver high-quality patient care, act as a liaison between medical team and patients, ensure patient recovery, and maintain clear communication with families.
