1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC certification and 2+ years of ED experience at a Level 3 Trauma Center. Details Community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds, Joint Commission Accredited Certified Chest Pain Center and Level 3 Trauma Center 24-bed Emergency Room with a 1:4 patient ratio Night shift schedule, 3x12s from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Every other weekend required Geriatric, adult, and some pediatric patient population with mixed medical cases of varying acuity Uses Ultrasound, Bellmont Transfuser, Baxter IV Pumps, Glidescope, BD IV Products, and GE monitors in every room Charts in MedHost EDIS May be required to float within a 25 mile radius of the facility Requirements Active AZ or compact RN license required Current BLS and TNCC certifications required Minimum 2 years of ED experience required Associate's degree required Trauma and STEMI experience required Experience with ultrasound and IV pump equipment preferred Additional Information Provide emergency nursing care to a mixed medical patient population with varying acuity levels Approachable team player who takes initiative and assists others during downtime Black scrubs required Weekly orientation offered Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
