Our client, a 150+ bed hospital in beautiful, sunny Northwestern AZ has an opening for a Director of Surgical Services to join their team. Offering a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus. $5,000 in relo assistance Our high-performing surgical team prioritizes patient safety through mutual trust and a deeply rooted culture of psychological safety. As Director, you will lead a collaborative, supportive clinical team in a fast-paced perioperative environment.

9,000 annual surgical cases | 2,000 annual endoscopic procedures

Operating Rooms Areas of Responsibility Units:
Main OR, Havasu Ambulatory Surgery Center, PreOp, PACU, Preadmission Testing, Anesthesia Services, and CSPD.
Specialties:
Orthopedics, urology, OB/GYN, general surgery, plastics, ENT, neurosurgery, and podiatry.
Multidisciplinary Staff:
Surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and sterile processing technicians. How you'll contribute A Surgical Services Director who excels in this role: Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements. Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies. Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Master's preferred Arizona RN License 5+ years of Surgical Nursing Experience 1+ years Leadership Experience in Surgical Setting
