Pay:

$31.00•$47.00/hour Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to Med Surg/Telemetry patients. Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in cardiac rhythms and patient conditions. Care for patients with cardiac and neurological conditions. Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions. Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Provide patient and family education. Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record. Float to other Medical-Surgical units and ICU for Medical-Surgical overflow patients as needed. Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience . Strong cardiac and neurological nursing skills . BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required. PALS preferred. PALS is required for pediatric assignments; travelers without PALS will not be assigned pediatric patients. Experience with Sunrise Allscripts EMR preferred. Unit Details 24-bed Med Surg unit with telemetry capability on every bed. Primarily adult patient population.

Pediatrics:

1:4, depending on acuity Telemetry technicians, charge nurses, HUCs, and PCTs available for support. Hospitalist available in-house 24/7. Respiratory Therapy available 24/7. Pharmacy available 24/7. No dedicated IV team. Nurse managers conduct rounds but do not provide direct patient care.

Compensation & Bonuses Pay:

$31.00•$47.00/hour

Guaranteed:

36 hours/week with 3 cancellations

Sign-On Bonus:

$10,000 $5,000 payable after 90 days. $5,000 payable after 12 months. Sign-on bonus payments do not require repayment.

Relocation Assistance:

Available. If relocation assistance is provided, a 1-year employment commitment is required. Employees who leave before completing one year may be responsible for repayment of the relocation assistance.
