Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN to deliver high-quality patient care across diverse facilities nationwide. In this contract role, you'll assess and monitor adult patients, interpret telemetry rhythms, administer medications, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams. You'll adapt quickly to new environments, uphold safety and documentation standards, and support patients and families through education. Responsibilities Provide direct Med Surg and telemetry nursing care to a diverse adult patient population Continuously monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms and vital signs Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders and protocols Perform comprehensive assessments and update individualized care plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate high-quality, patient-centered care Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record Adhere to infection control, safety, and hospital policies across varied facilities Adapt quickly to new clinical environments and workflows as a travel RNDemonstrate professionalism aligned with Fusion Medical Staffing's values of transparency, accountability, and teamwork Required Skills Medical-surgical nursing Telemetry monitoring Cardiac rhythm interpretation IV therapy and medication administration Care planning and documentation (EMR systems) Patient assessment and triage Post-surgical care Wound care Patient and family education Infection control and safety protocols
