$100,000-$145,000 per year, commensurate with experience About the Role We are a growing cardiovascular clinic seeking a highly experienced Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner to practice at the top of their license across outpatient clinics and hospital service. This role is built for a seasoned cardiology clinician who can carry their own panel, own inpatient consults from start to finish, and make confident, independent clinical decisions in collaboration with a supportive care team. Qualifications (Required at Hire) Active, current, and unrestricted Arizona NP license — no restrictions, stipulations, probation, or pending disciplinary action Active, current, and unrestricted Arizona prescribing/dispensing authority Active, unrestricted DEA registration (Schedule II authority, or ability to obtain prior to start) National certification as AGNP or AGACNP through ANCC or AANP (AGACNP preferred for inpatient scope) Clear NPDB inquiry; no adverse actions Eligible for enrollment with Medicare, AHCCCS, and commercial payers Ability to obtain/maintain hospital medical staff privileges at Banner Del Webb Medical Center and Banner Boswell Medical Center Current BLS and ACLS Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program 5+ years of dedicated cardiology NP experience, in both inpatient and outpatient settings Preferred Existing privileges at Banner Boswell or Banner Del Webb Prior experience in a physician-owned or specialty practice Experience supporting interventional/cath lab patients (pre- and post-PCI management, peripheral vascular intervention) Comfort managing complex CAD and post-procedural care Exposure to vein/vascular or PAD management Spanish language ability What You Will Do Own your panel: Independently manage a panel of complex cardiology patients from consult through long-term follow-up (hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, CAD, valvular disease).Lead the inpatient service:
Round each morning, take hospital consults, manage admissions/discharges, and act as the continuity link between hospital and clinic.Manage complex therapy:
Independently manage medications, including anticoagulation, antiarrhythmics, and guideline-directed medical therapy for heart failure.Interpret and act:
Read ECGs, echoes, stress tests, and ambulatory monitors; make decisions, close the loop, and document clearly.Support the surgical pathway:
Perform pre-operative cardiac risk assessment and clearance with experienced clinical judgment.Collaborate as a peer:
Work alongside cardiologists, hospitalists, and the broader care team as a trusted clinical decision-maker.Work Location and Schedule Clinics:
Alternating between Sun City West and Sun City locationsHospitals:
Banner Del Webb Medical Center and Banner Boswell Medical Center Daily structure: Hospital rounds in the morning, clinic 1:00 PM-4:30PM Schedule:
Monday-Friday; no after-hours, no holidays, no pager at home Weekend commitment: One weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday rounds with the on-call STEMI provider), included in base salary — any additional coverage beyond this is compensated separatelyCompensation and Benefits Salary:
