Schedule:

4×10-hour shifts per week (total 40 hours) Day shifts with varied start times 13-week commitment, starting 10/19/2026

Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted California RN license Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (with annual renewal required) At least 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience Minimum of 1 year of experience as a travel RN in the CVOR specialty

Role Expectations:

Circulate and/or scrub for complex cardiovascular cases, ensuring patient safety and support throughout operative procedures Coordinate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other personnel to facilitate efficient workflow Maintain strict adherence to infection control, documentation, and hospital protocols Participate in call rotation—including weekdays, weekends, and holidays—as scheduled by the department Monitor and respond to dynamic patient conditions, utilizing advanced clinical knowledge and critical thinking Support orientation of new staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives when required Bring your expertise in CVOR nursing to a professional environment that prioritizes patient outcomes, staff development, and teamwork.
