Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic operating room environment and make a difference as a Registered Nurse specializing in perioperative care. This 13-week travel assignment provides the chance to support a leading surgical team, focusing on orthopedic, trauma, and robotic procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

3x12 hour shifts, fixed

• Option 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)

• Option 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) On-call coverage is required (weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays).

Essential Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted California RN license Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS At least 2 years of Operating Room experience, including exposure to Level I or II trauma settings Proficient in orthopedic, trauma, and robotic surgical procedures Minimum 1 year of recent travel nursing experience Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills Completion of a skills checklist during the application process

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care, including patient assessment, surgical prep, intraoperative assistance, and post-op monitoring Anticipate surgeon and team needs during high-acuity cases Maintain aseptic techniques and uphold all safety protocols within the OR Effectively document perioperative activities and patient responses Adapt to the fast-paced, unpredictable needs of trauma and robotics surgical teams Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes You will have the opportunity to expand your clinical expertise while working with advanced technologies in a collaborative environment.
