Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our weekend team. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional patient care across diverse settings, including long-term care, assisted living, and acute care environments. Your expertise will ensure our residents receive safe, effective, and personalized nursing services during weekend shifts. Duties Provide direct patient care, including assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic and Cerner. Perform specialized procedures such as IV infusion, suturing, catheterization, and sterile technique to support resident needs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with residents' health goals. Manage acute pain and infectious disease cases with evidence-based practices in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct triage assessments for urgent health concerns and coordinate appropriate interventions within hospital or emergency room protocols. Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records, ensuring adherence to NCQA standards and ICD coding requirements. Support residents with memory care, dementia, Alzheimer's, and behavioral health needs through compassionate engagement and tailored interventions. Qualifications Valid RN license in good standing with current CPR/BLS certification. Proven experience working in diverse healthcare settings such as hospital medicine, ICU, trauma centers (Level I & II), or emergency medicine. Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, and eClinicalWorks; proficiency in

ICD-10/ICD-9

coding is preferred. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental delays, or in geriatrics and long-term care environments such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Skills in critical care procedures including ventilator management, airway management, laboratory specimen collection/processing, and infection control practices. Ability to perform physical examinations, venipuncture (phlebotomy), injection administration, and tube feeding with aseptic technique. Excellent assessment skills with a focus on patient safety and comfort; familiarity with trauma medicine, hospice & palliative care is advantageous.
