Full Time Shift:
1st Primary Duties and Responsibilities Assess patient status and implement appropriate standard of care Adhere to facility policies and procedures while providing patient care Conduct pre and post op education Assume active role in provision of quality nursing care for patients Demonstrate appropriate knowledge and competence of designated skills Play active team role in OR Performs other duties as needed Job Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies Diversity Technology & Equipment Skills Infection Control Interpersonal Skills Job Knowledge Oral/Written Communication Patient Safety Organization Behavioral Competencies Business Acumen Customer Satisfaction Innovation Trust and Accountability Education and Experience Bachelors' of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Preferred 2-3 years OR experience with 1 year recent Total Joint Replacement, Spine, or Sports Medicine experience in an Acute Care Hospital or Outpatient Surgery Center setting Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with Scan Chart and HST preferred License and Certification Requirements Registered Nurse in the state of California•Current and in good standing BLS certification ACLS certification PALS certification Physical Requirements Ability to lift/transfer patients more than 100 lbs Utilize full range of movement including pushing, pulling, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching
